Jeff Wesley is more confident the hospital is not under threat. “When I originally got involved in S.O.S., what was at stake was the very existance of our hospital in Wallaceburg,” says Wesley. “At one point we thought we were going to lose everything. Now there’s a possibility that we could end up with something new.”
Wesley says the group needs to shift its focus to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s revitalization plans, “As it moves into this next phase, if there is in fact going to be a new building, that it is going to have the services that the community needs.”
Conrad Noel takes over as chair. The group is meeting tonight, at 6:30pm, at the UAW Hall.
