The Dresden Kings needed a shootout to get past the Wallaceburg Lakers 4-3.

Wendel Mertz and Alex Schmidt both scored in the shootout to snap the Kings four game losing streak.

Dresden goalie Brandon Funk made 36-saves to pick up the win.

Jordan Durstin led the Lakers with a goal and an assist.
