If you want to keep their pumpkins fresh following Halloween should douse them with bleach and Vaseline. They say the beach hydrates pumpkins while killing any harmful bacteria that might cause fungus. Coating a pumpkin with Vaseline locks in important nutrients and keeps its flesh from dehydrating. Good luck picking up your pumpkin though when it’s time to toss it out.
