A mural of Canada’s fallen soldiers made a stop in Wallaceburg earlier today.
The Portraits of Honour features 155 faces including Master Corporal Kristal Giesebrecht of Wallaceburg and Private William Cushley of Port Lambton.
National Operations Manager for the tour Sean Libin says the trek has been an emotional one so far. “It’s not tears of sadness, it’s tears of patriotism, it’s tear of being proud, it’s tear of seeing the gratitude of families and Canadians,” says Libin.
The tour wraps up in December, however, Libin says it hasn’t been decided where the mural will be placed.
