Like most of the rest of the world, I have facebook. I actually remember when I got it back in 2005. A friend of mine called (remember phone calls?) and asked why I was not on FB? I had no idea what she was talking about. I looked into it, signed up, and instantly became hooked. But what was once my friends from school, old and new, and work buddies has turned into me talking mostly with my family, and oddly enought… MY MOM! (more…)

You are pretty lucky that the comments have been so sweet from your Mom.
My mom joined about a year ago, and since then I have had many phone calls like this:
Mom- So you just took it easy this weekend?
Me- Ya, just hung out with some friends
Mom- Oh, because your status said something about Booze Olympics, that sounds dangerous.
Me- Yep, thats what we did.
Mom- And there’s an awful lot of alcohol in the pictures, and why is everyone in bikinis?
That was the day I restricted what she could see on my page. Now the phone calls are about why everyone else seems to be able to see my updates but her.
