The Chatham Maroons finally got a win a home with a 6-4 victory against St. Thomas.
The Maroons hadn’t won a game at Memorial Arena since October 24th. With the Stars leading 3-2 in the third, the Maroons score three goals in just under two minutes to take the lead. Patrick Watling had a four point night, including a goal, for the Maroons, while teammate Sean Myers had a goal and assist. Conner MacKinnon made 31 saves to pick up the win. The victory also snaps the Maroons two game losing streak. The win moves Chatham into 7th place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of Leamington.The Maroons are back on the ice on Sunday night when they host Lambton Shores.
