The competition to attract new employers to Ontario communities is so intense Chatham-Kent may hold a job fair before they get the jobs. Stuart McFadden of the economic development department says several western based companies are considering locating here, but they want proof potential workers have the skills they need. He says the community has the buildings they need and the price is right, but they are really drilling down on the skills of the potential workers.
