A 23-year-old man has been sent to hospital for a psychiatric assessment following an incident at the Links of Kent last night. Chatham-Kent Police responded to a call that the man was swinging a golf club in a dangerous manner inside the clubhouse. Officers subdued the man and arrested him for Weapons Dangerous to the Public Peace. One of the officers received a minor injury and during booking, the officer in charge decided the accused required a psychiatric assessment.
