Several public services and buildings across Chatham-Kent are closed today for the Labour Day Holiday. On the health care front — routine out-patient blood tests, X-rays, EKGs and ultrasounds will not be available. Ambulatory Care Services, Out-Patient Rehabilitation Services, Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program will also be closed. All municipal centres and services are closed. All branches of the Chatham-Kent Public Library are closed. So are Memorial and Erickson arenas and the Cultural Centre box office. Garbage and recycling collection is not running and is pushed back one day for the remainder of the week.
