The organizing committee of the Art on the Boulevard & Home and Cottage Tour event are extremely pleased with the results from yesterday. Fifty- four artists showcased their art and thousands of people walked the boulevard observing the various mediums of art and purhasing favourite pieces. We had so many different mediums of art ranging from watercolour, oil, jewelry, photograph, quilts, stained glass, garden accents, pottery and the list goes on and on. The Home and Cottage Tour attracted over 200 people and those who were asked said if different homes were offered next year, they would definitely do it again.
The committee would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped in so many different ways throughout the day starting as early as 5:30 in the morning. We couldn’t have pulled it off without the support of the wonderful volunteers.
Thank you to all of the great artists who put on a first class show and to the home owners who allowed us to showcase their homes for the tour.
Last but not least, thank you to all of the visitors who came out to the village to enjoy the day in Erieau and to support our event.
